Physical Therapy
Evaluation + Treatment
Evaluation
Every good physical therapy plan starts with figuring out what’s actually going on.
Your initial physical therapy evaluation at Get Back looks at your symptoms, injury history, strength, mobility, and how you move. We’ll also talk about what makes things better or worse and, most importantly, what you’re trying to get back to doing.
From there, we can build a plan around you — whether your goal is getting through the workday without pain, returning to the gym, running again, or getting back to your sport.
Treatment
Physical therapy shouldn’t just be about making something feel better for an hour.
Treatment at Get Back can include strength and mobility exercises, manual therapy, dry needling, joint mobilization, and other hands-on techniques when they’re useful. What we use depends on what you need — there isn’t a standard treatment we give everybody.
The goal is to reduce pain when needed, build your strength and confidence back up, and help you return to the activities you actually care about.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
We work with a wide range of orthopedic and movement-related issues, including back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, sports injuries, running-related injuries, post-surgical rehab, and aches or pains that are making it harder to stay active. The goal is not just to calm things down temporarily, but to figure out what is limiting you and build a plan to get you moving confidently again.
-
Our approach combines physical therapy and strength training instead of treating them like two completely separate things. We want to help you get out of pain, but we also want to make sure you are strong enough and confident enough to get back to the activities you actually care about. Sessions are one-on-one and built around you rather than a standard protocol.
-
No. Get Back PT is a cash-pay physical therapy practice. That gives us more flexibility with how we structure your care, how long we spend together, and what we work on during each session without having an insurance company dictate the plan.
-
Cash-pay physical therapy simply means you pay the clinic directly instead of having your visits billed through insurance. For us, that allows sessions to stay focused on what you actually need and gives us more freedom to combine rehab, strength training, and return-to-activity work when it makes sense.
-
In many cases, you can schedule directly with a physical therapist without first seeing another provider. If there is ever something that needs additional medical evaluation, we will let you know and help point you in the right direction.
-
Your first visit starts with a conversation about what is bothering you, what you have tried, and what you want to get back to doing. From there, we will look at things like strength, mobility, movement, and anything else that may be contributing. You will leave with a clearer idea of what is going on and what the plan should look like moving forward.
-
There is no set number because everyone comes in with a different problem, history, and goal. Some people only need a few visits and a good plan. Others benefit from more ongoing support. We will talk through what makes sense for you rather than automatically putting you into a long treatment schedule.
-
Usually, yes. In fact, staying active is often an important part of the process. We can help you figure out what movements are okay to keep doing, what may need to be modified for a while, and how to gradually build back toward your normal workouts or activities.
-
Yes, mobile physical therapy may be available depending on your location and scheduling needs. We can work with clients in their home or home gym when that makes more sense than coming into the clinic.
-
If pain is keeping you from exercising, affecting your normal activities, repeatedly coming back, or making you nervous to move, it may be worth getting it looked at. You do not have to wait until something becomes severe before asking for help.
Dr. Brett Green
Founder | Physical Therapist & Personal Trainer
Growing up as a three-sport athlete and playing collegiate baseball, I developed a deep passion for movement, performance, and overall well-being. That passion led me to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University, where I honed my expertise in rehabilitation and fitness.
After spending several years in insurance-based clinics, I realized I wanted to offer more to my patients—more time, more personalized care, and more effective solutions for long-term health. That’s why I founded Get Back PT and Performance: to bridge the gap between physical therapy and fitness, helping people move better, feel stronger, and live pain-free.
I provide one-on-one, hour-long sessions tailored to your specific needs, whether you’re recovering from an injury, looking to improve mobility, or striving for peak performance. My goal is to help you reduce pain now so you can improve function and health for the long run.
Let’s work together to build a healthier, stronger you!
