Who We Train
In Denver Colorado
At Get Back PT & Performance, we work with people who want to move better, get stronger, and stay active for the long run.
That includes runners, skiers, golfers, youth athletes, people returning from surgery, adults getting back into exercise, and people who just want smarter strength training that actually fits their body.
Our approach combines physical therapy, strength training, and performance coaching, so whether you’re trying to get back from an injury or push your training forward, we can build a plan around what you actually need.
Athletes Returning to Sport
Getting cleared for activity does not always mean you feel ready to compete again.
We work with athletes in the later stages of rehab after things like ACL reconstruction, shoulder surgery, hip labral repair, and other orthopedic procedures. The focus is on rebuilding strength, confidence, power, and sport-specific capacity so the return to sport actually feels like a return.
Runners, Skiers, Golfers & Outdoor Athletes
A lot of our clients are active adults who want to keep doing the things they enjoy without constantly feeling held back by pain or recurring injuries.
We work with runners, hikers, skiers, golfers, pickleball players, and other recreational athletes on strength, conditioning, mobility, and performance.
Whether you’re training for a race, getting ready for ski season, or just trying to stay active without breaking down, we can help you build a plan that matches the demands of what you do.
Strength Training for Every Stage
You do not need to be a competitive athlete to benefit from strength training.
We also work with:
People with osteoporosis or osteopenia
People taking GLP-1 medications who want to maintain strength and muscle
Adults returning to exercise after time off
People managing old injuries or recurring pain
Women and female athletes looking for more individualized strength coaching
Youth athletes building a better foundation
The goal is not to force everyone into the same program. It is to help you get stronger in a way that actually fits your body, your experience, and your goals.
Better Coaching, Not Just More Exercise
A lot of people come to us because they have been told there is only one “right” way to squat, deadlift, brace, breathe, or move.
That usually is not how real bodies work.
We look at your movement, history, goals, and what actually feels good for you. Sometimes a small change in setup, technique, or training volume makes a huge difference.
The goal is not perfect form. The goal is better training.
Guidance Beyond the Gym
There is a lot of bad information in fitness and wellness, especially around supplements, recovery products, and performance.
We can help you sort through the noise and figure out what is actually useful.
We do not sell supplements or push products. If something is worth your time and money, we’ll tell you. If it probably is not, we’ll tell you that too.

-
Yes. A big part of what we do is helping people bridge the gap between rehab and actually feeling ready to return to sport, lifting, running, or everyday activity. We can adjust training based on where you are in that process.

-
Absolutely. Not everyone needs to squat, deadlift, brace, or move the exact same way. We look at your body, your history, and what actually feels right for you instead of forcing one “correct” technique onto everyone.
-
Yes. Strength training can be especially important in these situations, but the plan needs to make sense for the individual. We can help build a program focused on maintaining strength, muscle, balance, and confidence with exercise.
-
No. Most people do not show up knowing exactly what program they need. Tell us what you want to get back to, what has been getting in the way, and what your goals are. We’ll help figure out the rest.
